    Цель урока: развитие речевых навыков.
    Задачи урока: 
    1. Организовать повторение лексики по теме “Schools”.
    2. Организовать закрепление грамматического материала “Future Perfect Tense”.
    3. Организовать чтение текста с полным пониманием прочитанного.
    4. Организовать монологические высказывания учащихся в связи с вербальной ситуацией по теме.
    Планируемые результаты:
    знать: некоторые   особенности   американской   системы образования, типы американских школ, понятия и реалии: elementary school, junior high school, high school, freshman (ninth grader), sophomore tenth grader), junior (eleventh grader), senior (twelfth grader); значение и особенности образования грамматической структуры «Будущее совершенное время».
    уметь: правильно употреблять в речи лексические единицы по теме (Schools), понимать значение грамматической структуры «Будущее совершенное время» и правильно ее использовать, читать текст с  полным пониманием   прочитанного, догадываться о значении лексических единиц по аналогии, дефиниции и контексту, логически излагать свои мысли, понимать и составлять диаграммы о системах образования в разных странах,  говорить и писать о системах образования в США и России.

    Содержание урока
     1. Организационный момент: Good morning. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. Let’s begin our lesson.
     2. Warm-up: - to revise topic vocabulary ‘School’
                            - to practice making sentences
    Let’s remember some words to the topic ‘School’. Read the words correctly (Pp read the words aloud paying attention to the pronunciation).

    Remember the meaning of the words and make sentences with them.
     3. Home task: - to check the home task

    Look at the picture and say what you see in it (Pp make sentences to describe the picture)
    Guess why the girl is so happy (Pp give suggestions)

    Remember the future forms you have revised, answer the questions.
    Say what you will do next week (Future Simple Tense).
    Say what you will be doing this time next week (Future Continuous Tense).
    There one more grammatical structure to express the future meaning “Future Perfect Tense’, read the 
          grammar rule GR 6 and answer the questions.
    Say what Mary will have done by the time she comes home after the year in the USA (cards ex. 2).

    A lot of students from all over the world come to the USA every year to take part in exchange programs.
          The US system of education is considered one of the most developed in the world.
    Look at the diagram on p. 57 and say what information it presents.
    Read the information and find out how old the students are when they: start school, go to junior high
          school, go to high school, leave school.
    Say what you have found out.

    Read the text once more to ensure the sentences have been replaced in the correct positions.

    1. The education system of the USA is divided into two stages: elementary 
         schools and high schools.
    
    2. The majority of American children attend free, state-supported, public 
        schools.
    
    3. Education remains primarily a function of the states.
    
    4. Still the State insists that certain standards should be maintained. So,
        there is a compulsory school age and a list of school subjects taught all 
       over the country.
    
    5. Education is compulsory for every child from the age of 6 up to the age                      of 16 except in Maine, New Mexico, North Dakota and Pennsylvania where  it is compulsory to the age of 17 and in Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma and Utah where the children must go to school until the age of 18.
    6. The elementary school comprises 6 years, the junior high school takes two years and high school takes four years.
    7. The program of studies includes English (reading, writing, spelling, grammar, composition), arithmetic, geography, history of the USA and elementary natural sciences.
    8. The high school prepares young people either for work immediately after graduation or for more advanced study
    in a college or university.
    9. In addition one can specialize in home economics, chemistry and physics, music, humanities, automobile mechanics, etc.
