    Цель урока: Формирование навыков смыслового чтения 
    Задачи урока:
    Образовательная: актуализировать лексику по теме «Исчезающие животные», повторить лексику по теме «Окружающая среда», подготовить учащихся, сдающих ЕГЭ по английскому языку, к выполнению заданий раздела «Чтение», научить учащихся работать с англоязычным текстом, научить составлять устное высказывание, следуя предложенному плану. 
    Развивающая: развивать навыки устной речи, развивать навыки аудирования и чтения с общим пониманием содержания текста и с извлечением конкретной информации.
    Воспитательная: воспитывать умение работать самостоятельно и в парах, воспитывать бережное отношение к природе, расширять кругозор учащихся.
    Планируемые результаты:
    Знать лексику по теме «Исчезающие животные» и «Окружающая среда».
    Уметь задавать и отвечать на вопросы по тексту.
    Уметь понимать общее содержание предложенного текста.
    Уметь извлекать необходимую информацию из текста.
    Уметь составлять небольшое высказывание по прочитанному тексту.
    Техническое обеспечение урока: компьютер, телевизор, колонки.  
    Дополнительное методическое и дидактическое обеспечение урока: индивидуальные карты с заданиями, видео ролик об исчезающих животных.
    Содержание урока:
    I. Организационный момент
    Teacher: Good morning! Glad to see you today. How are you?
    Pupil 1,2: I am fine, thank you. How are you?
    Teacher: I am fine too, thank you.
    II. Речевая зарядка
    Teacher: Have you got a pet?
    Pupil 1: Yes, I have. I have a cat.
    Teacher: Have you got a pet?
    Pupil 2: Yes, I have. I have a dog.
    Teacher: Do you love your pet?
    Pupil 3: Yes, I do.
    Teacher: Do you take care of your pet?
    Pupil 4: Yes, I do.
    Teacher: What do you think, should people take care of wild animals?
    Pupil 5: Yes, they do. Otherwise they will die.
    Teacher: Right you are! Now there are animals that are in danger. We call them endangered animals. If all endangered animals die, they will be extinct animals.
    
    
    
    III.  Этап целеполагания
    Teacher: Today we are going to speak about endangered animals. Let us watch video and say why they are endangered animals and what we can do to save them. Просмотр видео об исчезающих животных.
    Teacher: Why these animals are endangered?
    Pupil 1: They are endangered animals because we pollute air, water, ground, cut down trees…
    Teacher: What can we do to save them?
    Pupil2: We shouldn’t cut down trees, litter, we should recycle. 
    Pupil3: We should avoid buying things made from animals.
    Teacher: Thank you. Do you know the most popular animal in China?
    Pupil: Yes, I do. It is panda. 
    Teacher: You are right. Today we will read the text about pandas and at the end of the lesson you will give a 2-minute talk about them and the way of saving them.
    IV. Основной этап урока
    Teacher: Open your books. Page 78. You have personal cards that will help you to work with the text. Pupils who are going to pass the state exam are going to work individually with texts about Siberian Tigers. They have their own cards. (Учитель дает задание работать с текстом о Сибирских тиграх на стр 79 учебника учащимся, сдающим ЕГЭ. Все остальные работают по тексту о Пандах.)
    Teacher: Translate word combinations from the text (task 1) into Russian.

    Teacher: Read the text and answer my questions.

    3. How can scientists follow Xiang Xiang movements?
    4. When did Xiang Xiang begin training to be a wild panda?
    5. What is the largest giant panda habitat in the world?
    6. Why has the giant panda’s habitat shrinking?
    7. Why did people start panda centres?
    После прочтения текста учащиеся отвечают на вопросы учителя. Фронтальная работа.
    Teacher: Read the text again and say if these statements are true or false.
    1. Pandas can’t be born in captivity.
    2. The female panda has an average 7 baby pandas at once.
    3. The first panda was born in captivity in 2002.
    4. Xiang Xiang has never been released into the wildlife.
    5. Pandas eat bamboo.
    6. The scientists want to release about 15 pandas every year.
    7. The greatest threat of all pandas is the shortage of bamboo.
    8. The Chinese government set up panda centers to protect them.
     9. Nowadays there are about 1600 pandas in this centre.
    10. The most important step is to protect panda’s natural habitats.
    После повторного прочтения текста учащиеся определяют верные и неверные утверждения. Индивидуальная работа. Правильные ответы написаны на доске. 
    Teacher: Now let us check up this task and correct false statements.  Учащиеся исправляют устно неверные утверждения. Фронтальная работа. 
    1. Pandas can’t be born in captivity.
    2. The female panda has an average 7 baby pandas at once.
    3. The first panda was born in captivity in 2002.
    4. Xiang Xiang has never been released into the wildlife.
    5. Pandas eat bamboo.
    6. The scientists want to release about 15 pandas every year.
    7. The greatest threat of all pandas is the shortage of bamboo.
    8. The Chinese government set up panda centers to protect them.
     9. Nowadays there are about 1600 pandas in this centre.
    10. The most important step is to protect panda’s natural habitats.
    V. Динамическая пауза
    Let’s do some exercises for our eyes. 
    1. Blink quickly! Close your eyes! Sit still, count slowly from1 to 5. (4-5- times)
    2. Close your eyes, counting from 1 to 3! Open your eyes and look into the distance, counting from 1 to 5. (4-5 times)
    3. Stretch your arm forward! Follow the movements of your forefinger to the left and to the right, up and down without turning your head! (4-5 times)
    4. Look at your forefinger, stretched forward counting from 1 to 4, then look into the distance, counting from 1 to 6. (4-5 times)
    5. Make 3-4 circular motions with your eyes to the right and to the left at a moderate pace. Relax your eyes- muscles. Look into the distance counting from 1 to 6. (1-2 times) 
    
    Teacher: Now we are getting ready for a final talk about Pandas. Fill in the table. Work in pairs.

    Учащиеся работают в парах, заполняя таблицу в раздаточных индивидуальных картах.
    Teacher:Good! And now you do ex after the text. Choose the correct ending for sentences. 
    Учащиеся работают самостоятельно, выбирая правильный ответ из 3 предложенных. 
    Teacher: Ready? And now check up this task. Correct answers are written on the blackboard. Read aloud whole sentences.
     Учащиеся зачитывают правильные предложения.
    Teacher: I see that you understand this text. Work individually. Make up a 2-minute talk about Pandas according to the plan on page 79.
    Учащиеся работают в индивидуально в своих картах.
    Teacher: Let us listen to your stories. Work in pairs. Listen to the story of your partner and then ask 3 questions.
    Учащиеся рассказывают друг другу свой рассказ (2 –минутное высказывание), учитель ходит от пары к паре, слушая и исправляя ошибки при необходимости.
    Teacher: Now I see that you can speak about endangered animals. 
    
    VI. Заключительный этап урока.
    Teacher: Now tell me some words about the lesson. What did you like most? 
    Pupil1: I liked filling in the table.
    Pupil 2: I liked discussing the video.
    Teacher: What can people do to do to save Pandas?
    Pupil 2: People can bread Pandas and release them into the wild.
    Pupil3: People should protect them from hunting.
    VII. Домашнее задание
    Teacher: Thank you for the lesson. Your marks…. Your home task is to make a leaflet about Pandas, using the material of this lesson. Pupils who worked individually make a 3-minute talk about Siberian Tigers according to the plan on page 79 and make a leaflet about them. And give me your cards to check them up and to give you marks for your work. The lesson is over. Good bye!
